Field Museum
The Field Museum has an exhibit about The Ancient Americas that takes you back 13,000 years. The third section of the exhibit "Farming Villagers" is directly related to the Pueblo Indians that we learned about during our stay at Crow Canyon. There is a teachers guide that will help if you plan to attend the exhibit with students including pre- and post- visit activities to do with children. Many of us talked abou taking a trip to the museum as a kick off for the unit implementation. Another great feature is a list of current Field Museum employees that are studying topics related the the Ancient Americas exhibit.
